ASSISTIVE COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY
The University provides technology access in a variety of ways with the cooperation of the Office for Students with Disabilities, the Academic Assistance Center, Computer Services, the Computer Help Desk, and through consultation with Distributed Computing Services and Disability Services on the Twin Cities campus.
The computer accommodations available include:
- screen enlargement
- scanning and voice output equipment in designated locations
- print enlargers (CCTVs)
- adjustable-height workstations
- individualized assistance with lap-top computers for students
- document scanning and conversion (OCR)
