Diversity and Multicultural Affairs is an integral part of Student Affairs. It was funded in fall 2001 with the purpose of improving retention of students of color, as well as increasing racial, ethnic, and gender diversity among undergraduate students at UMC.

UMC Faculty in China
UMC faculty continue to work on an educational partnership with Zhejiang Economic and Trade Polytechnic University. UMC staff will support coursework with ZETP faculty and staff. The coursework will cover development programs in agriculture business management and computer software engineering.
